What you'll do

Consult with customers to design, build, and modernize business-critical FileMaker solutions.
Lead the full development lifecycle for internal FileMaker solutions including architecture, testing, and documentation.
Serve as a primary technical point of contact for companies evaluating new Claris products.
Resolve technical issues and build relationships with external developers and engineers.
Support the migration and modernization of legacy systems by standardizing workflows and improving reliability.
Monitor developer activity to identify recurring issues and provide actionable feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
Help grow and maintain a healthy, engaged developer ecosystem around Claris products.
Translate complex business requirements into reliable technical solutions for diverse stakeholders.

What we're looking for

7+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining solutions using the Claris FileMaker platform.
Strong knowledge of FileMaker solution architecture, data modeling, scripting, layouts, integrations, security, testing, and deployment.
Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into reliable technical solutions.
Experience working directly with customers, partners, developers, or other external technical stakeholders.
Ability to lead projects through the complete software development lifecycle.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience (preferred).
Experience in professional services, consulting, solution architecture, or customer-facing engineering (preferred).
