Principal Engineer, AI, HPC & Storage Deployment

What you'll do

• Triage, debug, and deploy Server, Storage, and HPC system architectures and solutions.
• Perform debugging and issue resolution at factory integration sites for Dell and third-party partners.
• Resolve high-level Dell Services escalations as needed.
• Support lab builds and customer evaluations for new technologies.
• Lead the deployment, validation, and stabilization of advanced data center solutions.
• Ensure complex solutions achieve customer productivity within committed timelines.
• Manage in-rack and data center-scale system installation, configuration, and validation.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in hardware design, system architecture, or systems engineering.
• Strong background in deploying and debugging complex compute and networking architectures.
• Proven experience in the design and deployment of solution-level AI and enterprise Server/Storage/HPC data center systems.
• Familiarity with factory integration, system validation, and large-scale solution rollouts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with customers, partners, and internal teams.
• Hands-on experience with in-rack and data center-scale systems, including installation, configuration, and validation (preferred).
• Previous customer-facing technical roles in deployment, escalation, field engineering, or solution architecture (preferred).
