As a Principal Systems Development Engineer, you will serve as the Product Owner and Enterprise Architect for next-generation AI-enabled engineering applications and platforms. You will drive the transformation of traditional engineering processes into AI-native workflows by designing Agentic AI ecosystems, automation frameworks, and cloud-native architectures. Your daily responsibilities include defining product visions, roadmaps, and success metrics while establishing architecture principles and governance for intelligent agents. You will develop data and integration strategies supporting Generative AI, RAG, semantic search, and knowledge management to modernize legacy applications. The role requires expertise in distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and infrastructure as code. You will utilize technologies such as Azure, Kubernetes, and DevSecOps while integrating tools from the PLM, ALM, and DevOps domains to solve complex engineering productivity challenges across hardware, firmware, and software systems.
Serve as the Product Owner and Enterprise Architect for Agentic AI enablement products and engineering platforms.
Define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, requirements, and success metrics for AI-powered engineering solutions.
Transform traditional engineering processes into AI-native workflows using intelligent assistants and automation frameworks.
Design and govern Agentic AI ecosystems including Model Context Protocol (MCP), orchestration, and lifecycle management.
Develop enterprise data and integration strategies supporting Generative AI, RAG, and semantic search.
Modernize legacy applications by driving the adoption of scalable cloud-native engineering platforms.
Establish technology standards, architecture principles, and governance frameworks for the organization.
Provide technical direction and influence executive leadership across multiple internal organizations.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience in software engineering, systems development, platform engineering, product management, enterprise architecture, or related technical leadership roles.
Proven experience serving as a Product Owner, Technical Product Leader, Enterprise Architect, or Principal Engineer for enterprise-scale platforms.
Experience leading digital transformation, platform modernization, and engineering productivity initiatives.
Strong expertise in cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience collaborating across hardware, firmware, software, and systems engineering organizations.
Experience delivering Agentic AI, Generative AI, MCP, RAG, knowledge graph, or AI orchestration solutions (preferred).
Knowledge of PLM, ALM, DevOps, Engineering Lifecycle Management, and related engineering toolchains (preferred).
