  • Create new applications to improve internal SpaceX operations and manufacturing.
  • Build prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
  • Own all aspects of software engineering and product development from start to finish.
  • Analyze user problems deeply to create and implement efficient technical solutions.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or scientific discipline and 7+ years of professional experience building and scaling software.
  • 9+ years of professional experience building software in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
  • Programming experience in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar object-oriented language (preferred).
  • Experience building single page web applications (preferred).
  • Experience with version control, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts (preferred).
  • Expertise in designing software systems (preferred).
  • U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
