What you'll do

  • Define and drive reliability strategy and operational best practices for Substrate workloads in regulated environments.
  • Lead incident response and provide technical direction during complex high-impact incidents.
  • Architect large-scale automation, observability, and self-healing solutions to enhance service reliability.
  • Influence architectural decisions and set software engineering standards for reliability and compliance.
  • Mentor senior engineers and shape the long-term technical direction of SRE discipline.

What we're looking for

  • Must meet Microsoft Government cloud environment security screening requirements.
  • Requires access to GCC Moderate, GCC High, and DoD environments.
  • Must pass Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire and every two years.
  • 7+ years of experience with large-scale cloud or distributed systems.
  • Experience operating services in regulated, sovereign, or compliance-sensitive environments.
  • Define and drive reliability strategy and operational best practices across workloads.
