As a Principal Service Engineer on the Generative AI Services team, you will serve as the technical lead for the GenAI Services domain. You will work with technologies including diffusion models, transformers, and GANs to solve complex engineering challenges related to integrating proprietary and third-party generative models into a rapidly growing portfolio of services for enterprise and consumer applications.

What you'll do

Lead the development and scaling of core GenAI services and APIs for Adobe products.
Design and architect inference infrastructure for enterprise-scale model customization, serving, and integration.
Provide hands-on technical leadership to guide engineers through architecture, design, and implementation.
Evaluate and integrate MLOps technologies to improve engineering velocity and system performance.
Drive cross-functional alignment with product managers and leaders to define the service roadmap.
Establish technical standards and conduct design reviews to ensure high reliability and maintainability.
Develop DevOps processes and tooling necessary for scaling infrastructure and services.
Mentor a growing organization of machine learning and services engineers.

What we're looking for

MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
10+ years of experience building and operating production-scale systems.
3+ years of experience leading large-scale, GPU-intensive GenAI workloads including training, inference, and optimization.
Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams on complex, high-stakes engineering initiatives.
Deep experience in model serving, orchestration, and GPU resource management in large-scale deployments.
Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, distributed systems, and MLOps platforms.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills to drive alignment in matrixed environments.
In-depth understanding of generative model architectures including diffusion models, transformers, and GANs.
