Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems sector is seeking a Principal Project Manager to support Amherst Systems in Buffalo, NY, where you will collaborate with Program Managers and Integrated Program Teams (IPTs) across complex engineering programs, assisting with proposal support through execution and closeout. Your daily tasks include tracking scope closeout, burndown plans, key performance metrics, and integrated master schedules while maintaining organized records of customer correspondence. You’ll also collect program data for cost, schedule, and technical performance reporting, using tools like EVM or similar methodologies under guidance from Program Management and Business Management. Additionally, you will support risk identification, documentation, and tracking, coordinate with cross-functional teams to surface execution issues early, and assist in preparing for customer and executive reviews by consolidating inputs and developing presentations. Preferred qualifications include experience with U.S. Government contracts, SAP, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Electronic Warfare systems, along with a SECRET security clearance.
