What you'll do

  • Define the product vision, go-to-market strategy, and execution roadmap for Elastic Agent and Fleet Server.
  • Oversee the packaging, testing, and distribution of various telemetry collector distributions including EDOT.
  • Drive remote management capabilities to ensure seamless deployment and configuration of agent infrastructure at scale.
  • Manage the release strategy for cloud-native deployments using Kubernetes operators and Helm Charts.
  • Advance OpenTelemetry as a primary data shipper by guiding the development of receivers and exporters.
  • Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of Logstash, Filebeat, and the Beats ecosystem.
  • Track key performance indicators regarding agent deployment success, pipeline efficiency, and OTel adoption.
  • Act as a public spokesperson for Elastic’s agent framework and collector capabilities at industry events.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum of five years in a Product Management role focused on enterprise infrastructure observability, telemetry collection, or agent frameworks.
  • Deep technical familiarity with collectors, log shippers, and agent ecosystems including OpenTelemetry Collector, Elastic Agent, Filebeat/Beats, and Logstash.
  • Proven track record defining requirements for remote agent management, fleet control planes, or distributed edge collection systems.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes operators, Helm Charts, and cloud-native orchestration and release management.
  • Expertise in OpenTelemetry standards, receivers, exporters, and OpenTelemetry Collector architectures.
  • Experience working with open-source communities to balance upstream contributions with enterprise product requirements.
  • Previous experience in IT Ops, DevOps, SRE, or as a customer-facing solution architect/consultant (preferred).
  • Strong familiarity with the Elastic Stack including Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, and Beats.
