Ideal candidates have over 10 years of experience as a Product Designer or Technical Founder, mastery of modern AI development tools, strategic influence at executive levels, and technical expertise in software architecture and agentic systems, with a passion for making meaningful financial impacts on everyday people.

What you'll do

  • Lead the design and execution of SoFi Coach's interaction patterns and UX strategy.
  • Create functional prototypes using AI-native workflows to demonstrate "magic moments" to stakeholders.
  • Partner with core engineering teams to accelerate their AI roadmaps without causing friction.
  • Challenge the status quo by pushing engineering teams to achieve more ambitious AI implementations.
  • Help evolve SoFi’s internal AI-enabled design workflow, benefiting the entire organization.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Design, Technical Founding, or Design-Engineering.
  • Proven track record driving 0-to-1 initiatives for high-scale consumer products.
  • Mastery of AI tooling like Claude Code, Cursor, and similar environments.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional strategy at the executive level.
  • Strong technical literacy in software architecture, APIs, and agentic systems.
  • Portfolio showcasing functional projects built or contributed to using code and AI tools.
