What you'll do

Own the architecture of Reddit’s iOS Mobile App to scale for 100M+ DAUs.
Identify and lead redesigns in iOS app architecture to improve modularity, performance, and quality.
Define and execute on key user-facing performance goals like minimizing ANR rate and reducing app launch time.
Improve observability and data quality by establishing reliable telemetry and monitoring systems for critical performance metrics.
Mentor senior iOS engineers across Reddit and drive a company-wide culture of performance excellence.

What we're looking for

10+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years in designing/developing iOS applications.
Deep understanding of building mobile applications at scale and influencing technical direction for large organizations (200+ engineers).
Experience with modern iOS frameworks such as Swift UI and structured concurrency.
Proven ability to mentor senior iOS engineers and drive a culture of performance across the company.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical expertise required.
Expertise in identifying architectural gaps, leading redesigns for modularity, performance, and quality improvements.
