What you'll do

Own the architecture of Reddit’s iOS Mobile App to scale for 100M+ DAUs.
Lead redesign of iOS platform to improve modularity, performance, and quality.
Define and execute on key user-facing performance goals like minimizing ANR rate.
Improve observability and data quality for critical performance metrics.
Mentor senior iOS engineers across Reddit and drive a culture of performance.

What we're looking for

10+ years of software development experience with at least 5 years in designing/developing iOS applications.
Deep understanding of building mobile applications at scale and influencing large organizations on technical direction.
Experience with modern iOS frameworks such as Swift UI and structured concurrency.
Proven ability to mentor senior iOS engineers and drive a culture of performance across the company.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent technical expertise.
