Principal Engineer, Cybersecurity, Data Loss Prevention

What you'll do

• Conduct security assessments and testing to identify and mitigate risks within current and emerging AI systems.
• Architect proactive security measures and strategies across technologies including Microsoft Purview, Zscaler, and Island Browser.
• Integrate security practices into data posture, data security, and implementation guidelines with engineering teams.
• Drive strategic security initiatives to protect against cyber threats and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Evaluate new technologies and processes for potential security vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide guidance and leadership as a cybersecurity authority to various business units.
• Design and implement data protection capabilities across software, systems, cloud platforms, endpoints, and infrastructure.

What we're looking for

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology plus 7 years of related experience.
• Must have an Advanced degree plus 5 years of related experience.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience with Microsoft Purview is required.
• 7-10 years conducting security assessments and vulnerability testing to identify and mitigate risks in digital environments (preferred).
• 7-10 years developing and implementing cybersecurity measures across mobile, IoT, cloud, and network technologies (preferred).
• 7-10 years leading and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance security postures and strategic initiatives (preferred).
• CISSP, CISM, or CRISC certifications (preferred).
