What you'll do

Drive technical initiatives end-to-end to accelerate customer, business, and technology outcomes across the organization.
Design and implement durable, scalable, and secure software solutions for high-availability applications.
Apply AI technologies and emerging tools to solve complex customer problems in TurboTax and Credit Karma products.
Evaluate and measure the accuracy of AI-driven solutions using appropriate evaluation tools.
Create robust technical designs that balance short-term needs with long-term architectural goals.
Partner with cross-functional teams in Product Management, Architecture, and Operations to develop and release features.
Establish engineering standards, patterns, and best practices to improve the broader engineering community.
Provide expert recommendations on industry trends, new technologies, and engineering process improvements.

What we're looking for

BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience developing systems or software for large business environments.
5+ years of experience designing complex distributed systems, management products, or business applications.
Full-stack development experience with AI technologies and tools applied to user experiences or backend solutions.
Experience with AI technologies including SageMaker, Vertex, LangChain, Large Language Models, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlow, and Python.
Proficiency in at least one front-end technology (React, Angular, SwiftUI, Kotlin) and one back-end technology (Java, TypeScript, Spring, Express).
Prior experience working in a cloud computing environment like AWS or GCP (preferred).
Prior experience working in teams that have built AI-native applications for 1+ years.
