As a Principal Data Scientist in Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group, you will join the QuickBooks Payments team as a senior leader responsible for optimizing payments operations and driving strategic initiatives. Your day-to-day involves building systems to monitor key metrics, collaborating with cross-functional teams like Product, Finance, and Engineering to enhance payment processes through automation and innovative solutions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and mentoring analysts. You will leverage your deep experience in global payments, technical understanding of complex payment systems, and SQL skills to analyze data and inform business strategy. Build and lead a function to monitor and enhance key payments metrics.
Design and implement long-term strategies for optimizing global payment costs and performance.

What we're looking for
Deep experience in global payments across card and alternative payment methods.
At least 8 years of analytics experience with direct management in high-growth environments.

Proven ability to use data for strategic decision-making and prioritization.
Effective cross-functional project management and communication skills.
Financial, accounting, and banking system knowledge.
