What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary lead for games data science and analytics to provide a central source of truth for product performance.
  • Develop advanced analytical frameworks, forecasting models, and behavioral segmentation to improve player engagement and monetization.
  • Analyze gameplay telemetry, social engagement, and creator content trends to identify growth opportunities across digital ecosystems.
  • Define KPIs, measurement frameworks, and instrumentation requirements to support product development and strategic planning.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on progression systems, engagement funnels, and personalization opportunities to inform product strategy.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable analytics infrastructure, event pipelines, and self-service reporting solutions.
  • Translate complex technical findings into clear narratives and executive-level presentations for non-technical leadership.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or quantitative product analytics within gaming, streaming, or entertainment industries.
  • Proven experience applying statistical analysis, forecasting, experimentation frameworks, and behavioral analytics to large-scale consumer and telemetry datasets.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python or R.
  • Experience working with modern cloud data ecosystems and platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Tableau, and Looker.
  • Experience analyzing gameplay telemetry, player behavior, progression systems, retention, and monetization.
  • Familiarity with audience segmentation, personalization strategies, recommendation systems, or content optimization frameworks.
