As a Principal Data Architect, you will lead enterprise data platform architecture and strategy to enable scalable AI/ML, telemetry analytics, and business intelligence solutions. You will solve critical problems regarding data monetization, scalability, and security while translating business goals into technical capabilities like automated analytics and GenAI-ready architectures to transform raw telemetry and product data into strategic assets.

What you'll do

  • Design enterprise-wide blueprints for data storage, integration, and governance across the organization.
  • Build scalable data warehouses and lakes to support BI, advanced analytics, and AI/ML use cases.
  • Develop and optimize automated data pipelines, feature engineering frameworks, and MLOps workflows.
  • Align technical data initiatives with business goals and digital transformation strategies.
  • Establish data modeling standards, quality frameworks, and metadata management systems.
  • Implement security, privacy, and compliance protocols for all data lifecycle processes.
  • Translate complex business requirements into functional platform capabilities like self-service tools and automated reporting.

What we're looking for

  • Experience designing enterprise-wide data architectures including data lakes, lakehouses, and warehouses.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for data services and storage.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and pipeline orchestration.
  • Knowledge of streaming and real-time data systems.
  • Familiarity with MLOps workflows and productionizing ML/AI models.
  • Understanding of modern architectural patterns like Data Mesh, Medallion architecture, and Data Fabric.
  • Proficiency in Big Data technologies including Apache Hadoop, Kafka, and Spark.
