This role involves establishing strict program controls for risk mitigation and supporting Assessment and Authorization (A&A) procedures. The ideal candidate should possess a Master’s degree with 3 years or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, along with a Security+ certification and current DOD Secret clearance, aiming to obtain Top Secret clearance. Preferred qualifications include an active Top Secret/SCI clearance, knowledge in ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, NIST, DIACAP, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and RMF package development.

What you'll do

Assist in implementing government cybersecurity policies and tailoring processes as needed.
Establish program control processes to mitigate risks and support A&A of systems.
Support Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) by preparing for tests, participating, analyzing results, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with NIST standards and DIACAP requirements during system audits.
Develop RMF packages and manage POA&Ms related to classified systems security.

What we're looking for

Master’s degree with 3 years, Bachelor's with 5 years, Associate's with 7 years, or High School Diploma with 9 years of relevant experience required
Must hold a Security+ certification or higher
Current DOD Secret level security clearance required; Top Secret clearance preferred
Experience with Certification and Accreditation of classified systems and Risk Management Framework is preferred
Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, DIACAP, NISPOM, system audits, vulnerability scanning, and RMF package development is beneficial
