Principal Business Development Manager

What you'll do

• Own and manage executive-level relationships with MongoDB's frontier AI lab partners.
• Identify integration opportunities to improve developer experience using both platforms together.
• Develop and execute joint go-to-market initiatives with partner ecosystems.
• Track and report on the business impact of each partnership for measurable outcomes.
• Serve as a liaison between external partners and internal teams like Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing.
• Ensure MongoDB is well-represented in how frontier lab partners document and recommend solutions to developers.

What we're looking for

• At least 12 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or product strategy at a technology company.
• Proven ability to manage high-stakes executive-level relationships and drive complex initiatives through large organizations.
• Deep understanding of AI application architecture for substantive product conversations with engineers and product leaders.
• Strong strategic thinking skills to anticipate partner platform directions and build compelling cases for mutual success.
• Excellent communication and executive presence, comfortable at senior leadership levels both internally and externally.
• Ability to coordinate across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to maximize partnership outcomes.
