As a Principal Associate on the SBB Fraud Data Science team, you will leverage your expertise to develop and deploy machine learning models that combat fraud in small business transactions and account management. Working closely with analysts, software engineers, and product managers, you will build intelligent decision-making systems to protect both customers and Capital One from fraudulent activities. Ideal candidates are statistically-minded data gurus comfortable handling large datasets and have at least three years of experience in Python, Dask, Spark, and related technologies. Additionally, familiarity with deep learning techniques such as graphs, embeddings, sequence models, and transformer models is preferred for tackling complex fraud detection challenges at scale.
Develop and deploy machine learning models to detect fraud in small business transactions.
Analyze large datasets to identify patterns indicative of fraudulent activities.
Collaborate with software engineers to integrate fraud detection models into systems.
Continuously monitor and update fraud models based on new data trends.
Work with product managers to enhance fraud prevention strategies and tools.
What we're looking for
