Principal Associate, Cyber Security Logging

What you'll do

• Lead and communicate the enterprise security logging strategy with engineering, architecture, and Cyber Operations teams.
• Establish technical best practices and minimum requirements for logging across cloud, network, database, and endpoint infrastructure.
• Conduct gap analyses of security logs and influence engineering teams to prioritize and close identified gaps.
• Drive enterprise teams to adhere to standard schemas, design requirements, and log transportation deployments.
• Review delivered security logging against standards and escalate non-compliance issues to executive leadership.
• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage AI and automation to enhance logging efficiency and monitoring.
• Participate in the execution and oversight of critical team processes and playbooks.

What we're looking for

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology.
• At least 2 years of experience in cybersecurity operations.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Linux, Unix, and Windows operating systems.
• At least 1 year of experience with public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with logging requirements or implementation across infrastructure, hosts, endpoints, or applications.
• Deep technical expertise in multiple AWS cloud environments and comprehensive knowledge of cyber logging architectures.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in enterprise data or logging strategy (preferred).
• 1+ years of experience in regulated financial services organizations (preferred).
• CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP, CISA, CRISC, AWS Security, AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, or AWS Solutions Architect Certification (preferred).
