  • Build systems that enable AI agents to generate reliable answers from trusted sources.
  • Enhance end-to-end retrieval quality through query understanding and semantic retrieval.
  • Advance multi-turn agent experiences by improving context understanding and tool use.
  • Optimize models for grounded behavior using techniques like supervised fine-tuning.
  • Define evaluation methods to measure success in ranking, retrieval, and factuality.

What we're looking for

  • Deep expertise in large language models, information retrieval, ranking, and agentic AI.
  • Extensive experience building, evaluating, and deploying machine learning models in production.
  • Hands-on experience with offline and online evaluation techniques for model performance.
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and influence product direction.
  • Strong communication skills to explain scientific tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed training or inference systems.
  • Demonstrated success in improving multi-turn AI assistant experiences in real products.
