This position requires a B.S. degree in Computer Engineering or related field, with preference given to those with an M.S., machine learning workload experience, and a passion for pushing the boundaries of hardware and software integration at Apple's scale.

What you'll do

  • Extend SoC power, performance, and thermal control architecture to new platforms.
  • Partner with architects, designers, and engineers to drive high-efficiency system architectures.
  • Develop and specify hardware and software features for constrained systems.
  • Influence a wide spectrum of features across Apple's product lineup.
  • Extract maximum capabilities from systems under power, performance, and thermal constraints.

What we're looking for

  • B.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with computer architecture.
  • Proven experience in power management systems.
  • M.S. in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience with software performance analysis and optimization.
  • Knowledge of operating system implementation and large-scale thermal management.
