What you'll do

Develop and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests for enterprise applications.
Define performance benchmarks and KPIs based on application SLAs and user load models.
Build and maintain performance test environments in AWS cloud infrastructure.
Design test scripts using JMeter, LoadRunner, or K6, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
Analyze baseline performance and conduct capacity planning for major CMM components.
Validate that application releases meet federal performance and reliability standards before deployment.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience in software performance testing and engineering, with 3+ years in cloud-based or distributed systems.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript for scripting, test development, and automation across modern performance testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, or K6.
Experience testing applications in AWS cloud environments (EC2, ECS, CloudWatch, RDS).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated performance test execution.
Strong knowledge of performance engineering principles, including concurrency modeling and resource utilization.
Ability to interpret system logs, metrics, and profiling data to diagnose bottlenecks.
Experience with federal or enterprise-scale application performance testing.
