This position focuses on the technical challenge of modeling complex SoC IP and chip-level architecture to ensure seamless integration between CPUs, GPUs, Machine Learning, Camera, Display, and Connectivity components.

What you'll do

  • Translate hardware design space studies into high-performance C++ software models.
  • Develop and maintain performance modeling infrastructure for SoC architecture exploration.
  • Create accessible APIs for use by non-expert C++ developers.
  • Structure the codebase to support AI-assisted development tools and reasoning.
  • Build data analysis pipelines, visualization methodologies, and continuous regression testing systems.
  • Run performance simulations and perform detailed analysis of the results.
  • Ensure simulator code is optimized for performance, maintainability, and flexibility.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • An MS or PhD in CS, EE, or a related field is preferred.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience in hardware architecture and design issues is required.
  • Proficiency in C++ and Python programming is required.
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms is required.
  • Experience with multi-paradigm software development in C++ and multi-language programming environments is preferred.
  • Experience with architectural or micro-architectural performance modeling is preferred.
