What you'll do

  • Lead the development and staffing of Cyberspace Operations plans according to USCYBERCOM guidance and Joint publications.
  • Develop and synchronize Offensive Cyberspace Operational plans to deliver integrated effects against adversary systems.
  • Drive the integration and coordination of both Offensive and Defensive Cyberspace Operations planning processes.
  • Manage targeting selection, validation, and synchronization during execution activities within the Cyber Warfare domain.
  • Draft and staff foundational planning documents including Operational Plans (OPLANS), Operational Orders (OPORDs), and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs).
  • Lead Joint Operational Planning Groups to integrate Cyberspace capabilities into comprehensive plans and courses of action.
  • Provide situational awareness for Crisis Action Teams and ongoing operations supporting various task forces.
  • Identify and submit operational requirements for the research, development, and acquisition of new cyber capabilities.

What we're looking for

  • Active Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with Polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field of study.
  • At least eight years of recent experience as a CO Planner since 2015.
  • Formal training as a Cyber Operational Planner within the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.
  • Demonstrated familiarity with OCO concepts, capabilities, authorities, and Joint Publications.
  • Senior-level knowledge of Blue-space Cyber capabilities and infrastructure to conduct OCO.
  • Knowledge of computer networking fundamentals and various communication media.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
