JOB TITLE: New Graduate Engineer, Software Security - '26/'27 (Starlink) The New Graduate Engineer, Software Security - '26/'27 (Starlink) joins the team responsible for building secure, defensible systems for the Starlink satellite constellation. This role involves designing and building security critical infrastructure, developing security features for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites, and designing security into factory processes. The engineer will maintain production systems, build prototypes, and identify security improvements to provide reliable internet. Key technical requirements include proficiency in software engineering, applied cryptography, network security, operating system security, secure/authenticated boot, incident response, and vulnerability research. Candidates should possess experience with Python, C++, or Golang, as well as skills in designing security solutions for distributed systems or large-scale infrastructure, including special purpose hardware like Trusted Platform Modules and Hardware Security Modules.

What you'll do

Design and build security critical infrastructure for the Starlink constellation.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM discipline.
Graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027.
Experience with one or more software development languages such as Python, C++, or Golang.
Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for required Department of State authorizations.
Advanced degree in a technical or engineering discipline (preferred).
Experience with special purpose security hardware such as TPMs and HSMs (preferred).
Experience contributing security improvements to complex systems (preferred).
