What you'll do

Configure, upgrade, and patch network monitoring and management tools.
Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and manage alerts for anomalies.
Maintain a real-time inventory of all network hardware, software assets, and licenses.
Fine-tune Information Systems performance by analyzing usage, complaints, and hardware capabilities.
Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and SOPs.
Use scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate network tool integrations.

What we're looking for

Must possess a TSSCI with polygraph clearance.
Must have 12 years of applicable experience, which can be a combination of education and work history.
Strong understanding of network protocols, architecture, and technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
Proficiency with network monitoring tools such as OpenText NOM, Nagios, PRTG Network Monitor, or Wireshark.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation.
Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+.
Experience with OpenText Network Node Manager/NOM (preferred); experience with ServiceNow ITOM (preferred).
