What you'll do

  • Design and implement scalable enterprise network and wireless solutions.
  • Configure foundational network services like DNS, DHCP, NTP, and PKI in compliance with DoD standards.
  • Deploy wireless LANs using HPE Aruba technologies including ClearPass and EdgeConnect.
  • Develop and enforce security architectures using Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama.
  • Create detailed architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Provide expert guidance during troubleshooting, network migrations, and performance tuning.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies to recommend improvements for network design and performance.
  • Establish enterprise standards, policies, and procedures for network architecture.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering.
  • Master's degree in CS or Engineering (preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise network architecture.
  • Experience designing complex wireless networks for the DoD and implementing PKI, DNS, DHCP, or NTP.
  • Experience securing networks with Palo Alto firewalls and deploying DoD-compliant implementations including STIGs and IA standards.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, 802.1X, SD-WAN, and wireless RF design.
  • Experience with cloud networking (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and scripting tools like Python or Ansible (preferred); CompTIA Network+, ACMA, or CCNA certifications (preferred).
  • Secret clearance.
