Network Security Automation Engineer

What you'll do

• Define and advance the enterprise network security architecture and long-term cybersecurity strategy.
• Translate security requirements into scalable controls and automated governance capabilities.
• Lead opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation and workflow optimization.
• Promote the adoption of Policy-as-Code and Process-as-Code methodologies.
• Establish automated methods for evaluating security controls and policy compliance.
• Lead initiatives to integrate AI-assisted workflows into network security governance.
• Serve as the technical authority for network security design across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Develop metrics and measurement frameworks to demonstrate security control effectiveness.

What we're looking for

• Must possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization.
• 8+ years of experience in network security engineering or network infrastructure security.
• 8+ years of experience securing AWS, Azure, GCP networking, Kubernetes, containerized infrastructure, and software-defined networking.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience with next-generation firewalls, IDS/IPS, network protocols, packet analysis, VPNs, and network segmentation.
• Experience serving as a technical authority for network security architecture across data center, enterprise, and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience developing AI-enabled automated approaches for policy evaluation, security governance, compliance validation, or risk analysis.
• Experience implementing Policy-as-Code, Process-as-Code, or other engineering-led governance methodologies.
• Experience in the financial services industry (preferred); CISA, CISM, CISSP, or CCSP certifications (preferred).
