Join GDIT as a Principal Network Engineer in Denver, CO, where you will design and implement complex network systems to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability for mission-critical government programs. This role requires a DOE Q or TS clearance and at least 10 years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure design. Preferred candidates have additional experience with the Department of Energy, Microsoft DNS, Unix BIND systems, and DISA STIGs for federal compliance.

What you'll do

  • Perform system-level design and configuration to meet operational requirements, including hardware and OS specifications.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in network engineering and infrastructure design.
  • DOE Q or TS clearance required.
  • Deep knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless technologies, and network design principles.
  • Expertise in TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, OSPF, BGP protocols.
  • Understanding of network security practices including system hardening and compliance.
