What you'll do

  • Install and configure network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices in production environments.
  • Troubleshoot enterprise security boundaries using stateful firewalls and Layer 3 access control policies.
  • Provide operational support for LAN/CAN/MAN infrastructure and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Analyze network performance and reliability using packet capture and benchmarking tools.
  • Document work and track tasks in Remedy or similar systems during live call environments.

What we're looking for

  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocol stack and routing/switching protocols.
  • Experience administering and troubleshooting stateful firewalls and Layer 3 access controls.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/NX-OS and network operating systems.
  • Ability to work in operational environments requiring live support and disciplined change practices.
  • Five years of demonstrable experience in network engineering, architecture, monitoring, security, and protection.
  • IAT level II certification (SEC+, CCNA, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP) required.
  • Experience with data center network design and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPsec VPNs.
