What you'll do

  • Provides first-level technical support and initial troubleshooting for C2BMC network hardware and software.
  • Documents and reports all events and issues to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO).
  • Assists in network hardware and software installations as directed by local Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Creates and maintains user accounts based on guidance from the Information System Security Officer (ISSO).
  • Monitors and manages network infrastructure components using various management and monitoring tools.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field with 2 years of experience or equivalent work experience
  • Active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher
  • Sound knowledge of network concepts (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP)
  • Experience with virtualization technologies like VMWare, vCenter, and vSphere
  • Strong understanding of OSPF, Cisco IOS, and JUNOS commands and troubleshooting
  • Solid hands-on experience with remote access tools such as SSH, RDP, FTP, SCP
  • Familiarity with Windows Server maintenance
