Mid-Level Model Based Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Execute Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities to identify program requirements.
• Support system design analysis using Systems Modeling Language (SysML) and MagicDraw.
• Draft system requirements in accordance with established requirement practices.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain advanced submarine systems for the US and Royal Australian Navies.
• Conduct research on technical implementation challenges to develop solutions for complex assignments.
• Participate in agile sprint teams to support the development of tactical control systems.
• Recognize and report information relevant to sound systems engineering design.

What we're looking for

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• A Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 months of experience.
• Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and the engineering process (preferred).
• Ability to clearly convey concepts and ideas using written and verbal communications skills (preferred).
• Experience independently executing MBSE activities using SysML and MagicDraw (preferred).
• Experience with Agile programs, methodologies, and working on a sprint team (preferred).
• Experience drafting system requirements in accordance with good requirement practice (preferred).
