What you'll do

• Conduct advanced research to innovate collaboration and communication technologies using AI.
• Apply research methods to address real-world challenges in digital collaboration tools.
• Develop novel solutions focusing on privacy, security, and accessibility in Microsoft Teams.
• Evaluate and benchmark large language models (LLMs) for various applications and scenarios.
• Train small models to filter events and build procedural systems for agent interactions.

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
• Proven ability to think creatively and develop novel solutions to complex problems.
• Active research engagement in areas like collaborative AI agents, multi-agent simulations, or synthetic data generation.
• Strong collaboration skills with proficiency in cross-functional team communication.
• Demonstrated track record of independent research and meeting project deadlines.
• Special focus on social computing and model training/behavior/evaluation for scalable presence solutions.
