What you'll do

Design and build scalable systems enabling Large Language Models (LLMs) to reason over large datasets.
Develop conversational and language understanding models for deployment at scale in Microsoft products.
Collaborate with research teams to fine-tune models and create custom LLMs for specific product needs.
Advance Responsible AI practices and privacy-preserving machine learning techniques in model development.
Conduct experiments, validate metrics, and develop ML pipelines and algorithms for NLP and information retrieval.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field and 4+ years of technical experience designing large-scale services.
Master's degree or equivalent experience required; must develop algorithms in languages like C#, Java, Python.
Doctorate preferred with at least 3 years of machine learning experience.
Experience implementing complex distributed services and working on natural language models.
Proficiency using ML tools such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
Practical experience developing applications with prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques.
