As a Service Engineer at the IC4 level, you will join a dedicated team responsible for ensuring the operational health and compliance of mission-critical Microsoft 365 services in both connected and air-gapped environments. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring telemetry data to identify issues, responding to incidents by deploying fixes and implementing automations, and collaborating with engineering, security, and platform teams to maintain service reliability and policy alignment. You will leverage Azure or equivalent cloud technologies, possess hands-on experience in complex IT environments, and have a strong background in system management challenges. Additionally, you must be able to build consensus across teams and meet stringent security requirements, including an active Top-Secret clearance with CI or FSP.

What you'll do

Monitor and analyze telemetry data to identify patterns and errors in Microsoft 365 services.
Respond to incidents by troubleshooting issues, deploying fixes, and implementing automations.
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory standards for mission-critical services.
Partner with engineering teams to triage incidents and drive service reliability improvements.
Support onboarding of new services and integrations with Copilot in air-gapped environments.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 4+ years of technical experience in software, network, service, or systems engineering.
Hands-on experience supporting complex IT environments with expertise in system and service management challenges.
Experience operating in large distributed or air-gapped environments focusing on reliability, security, and compliance.
Ability to build consensus and influence across teams to achieve common goals.
Recent hands-on experience with Azure or equivalent hyperscale cloud technologies.
