As a Senior Systems Engineer on Microsoft’s Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) Datacenter Planning & eXecution Engineering team in Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX, or Phoenix, AZ, you will lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), including requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and system configuration. You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to design technical solutions, resolve complex integration challenges, and provide leadership for peer developers while ensuring efficient management of cost and schedule in large-scale data center projects. This role requires expertise in SAP IBP implementation, integrations with systems like MDG and D365, and experience in agile development methodologies. Ideal candidates have a background in construction/capital projects and a passion for innovation and automation to support Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure at scale.

What you'll do

Perform end-to-end SAP IBP implementation activities including requirement gathering and system configuration.
Conduct technical design discussions with business stakeholders to translate requirements into deliverables.
Resolve complex system integration challenges by collaborating with internal and external teams.
Provide technical leadership in designing and architecting solutions for peer developers.
Share learnings and code assets with the CO+I Engineering team.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 4+ years of SAP IBP implementation experience.
Experience in full-cycle SAP IBP Supply Planning implementations.
Technical expertise in integrating SAP S/4 HANA, Ariba, and other systems.
Ability to resolve complex system integration challenges collaboratively.
Design and provide technical leadership for software solutions at scale.
Pass Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire and every two years thereafter.
