What you'll do

Own execution quality during high severity incidents, ensuring clear command and decisive leadership.
Serve as senior incident leader or sponsor for complex, cross-service issues, aligning on recovery priorities.
Partner with Incident Managers and Subject Matter Experts to diagnose and mitigate unclear ownership issues.
Ensure high-quality post-incident reviews and drive accountability for reducing recurrence of systemic risks.
Coach and develop a team of SREs serving as incident responders, fostering continuous learning and improvement.
Build a culture of calm execution and psychological safety during and after incidents.

What we're looking for

7+ years of technical experience with large-scale cloud or distributed systems.
Experience building and scaling incident response programs at organizational level.
Background in SRE, production engineering, or platform reliability roles.
Track record of reducing customer impact through improved incident handling and tooling.
Proficient understanding of incident management and live site operations at scale.
Proven ability to lead teams during high severity incidents in large systems.
