What you'll do

Conduct research on cryptographic trade-offs in silicon gate area and firmware-hardware interfaces.
Design and implement countermeasures against side-channel attacks in hardware cryptosystems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cryptographic solutions into real-world systems.
Document progress and adjust research plans based on evolving project requirements.

What we're looking for

Currently enrolled in a PhD program in Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
Strong background in cryptography, including tradeoffs and countermeasures.
Experience with hardware RTL development (Verilog/VHDL).
Familiarity with FPGA-based side channel analysis techniques.
Ability to develop testbenches and tests using AI for validation.
