What you'll do

  • Demonstrates expertise in preparing, installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing, and decommissioning IT datacenter technology.
  • Performs discrete quality control activities to ensure work complies with safety protocols and deployment standards.
  • Escalates identified errors in deployment standards or Network Design Templates (NDTs) to relevant technicians for corrections.
  • Provides guidance to less experienced technicians on effective execution order strategies for assigned tasks.
  • Directly performs decommissions, simple changes, complex changes, and infrastructure cabling refreshes following standard procedures.

  • Shares information and best practices with other shifts/technician teams to maintain a positive team environment.
  • Works 12-hour shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Performs quality control activities and assessments of work to compliance standards and process adherence.
  • Provides guidance to less experienced technicians for effective execution strategies.
  • Directly performs decommissions, simple changes, complex changes, and infrastructure cabling refreshes following standard procedures.
