As a metrology engineering lead within Applied Materials’ Sustainability Center of Excellence, you will drive the development of advanced tools and methods to measure process emissions in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments. You will collaborate closely with hardware, software, and process engineering teams to ensure robust tool adoption by customers while translating complex technical requirements into clear specifications. Additionally, you will engage in external collaborations and forums to influence emerging industry measurement standards and communicate technical insights effectively across different levels of the organization. What we're looking for
7-10 years of relevant industry experience in semiconductor metrology.
B.S. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Physics, or related field.
Proven track record launching metrology products for high-volume manufacturing.
Hands-on experience with quantitative gas analysis and spectroscopy equipment.
Demonstrated leadership in measurement system design and method development.
Understanding of uncertainty analysis and practical limitations in spectroscopy.
Clear technical communication skills across various disciplines and seniority levels.
