Metal Plate Former/Fabricator

What you'll do

• Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models for manufacturing.
• Program, set up, and operate manual and CNC plate rollers, hydraulic presses, and shears.
• Design and implement work holding and fixture methods for fabrication processes.
• Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments during the manufacturing process to ensure quality.
• Perform quality control checks throughout and at completion of manufacturing tasks.

What we're looking for

• 10-15 years of experience as a metal forming technician.
• Expertise in operating plate rolling machines and hydraulic press brakes.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and GD&T principles.
• Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and ensure quality control.
• Flexibility to work on both R&D fabrication and production tasks.
• Secret security clearance required for the position.
• Experience working with various alloys and exotic materials preferred.
