We are seeking a Cutting/Fabrication Technician to join our cutting-edge production team in maritime manufacturing. This role involves hands-on work with engineering teams, fabricating high-quality parts using CNC water jets, oxy-acetylene cutters, plasma cutters, and shears, while also designing fixtures and troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process. You will read technical drawings, perform quality control, and maintain a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with CAD software like Siemens NX, CNC machines, and precision measuring tools, along with knowledge in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience with exotic materials such as Inconel and Titanium is preferred, as well as the ability to flex between R&D fabrication and production tasks.

What you'll do

Read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models for manufacturing.
Program, set up, and operate CNC water jets, oxy-acetylene cutters, plasma cutters, and shears.
Design and implement work holding and fixture methods for fabrication processes.
Troubleshoot issues and make adjustments during the manufacturing process.
Perform quality control checks throughout and at completion of manufacturing tasks.

What we're looking for

5+ years of experience as a cutting/fabrication technician.
Proficiency in CAD software like Siemens NX (Unigraphics).
Experience with CNC water jets, oxy-acetylene, and plasma machines.
Knowledgeable in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform quality control during manufacturing.
