TL;DR · Mechanical Engineer III - (E3)

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in robotics and end-of-arm tooling (EOAT) design to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing and developing robotic tooling solutions, including grippers and inspection tools, while ensuring optimal performance and manufacturability. You will collaborate closely with controls and software engineers to integrate EOAT with robotic systems, create motion models using simulation tools like RoboDK, and build prototypes for testing and validation. Essential skills include strong proficiency in CAD tools such as NX or SolidWorks, experience with industrial robots, and programming knowledge in Python or ROS. Ideal candidates will have 3-8 years of relevant experience and a background in mechanical engineering or robotics, driving scalable automation solutions across various industries.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop end-of-arm tooling for robotic applications.
  • Integrate EOAT with robotic systems, ensuring seamless mechanical interfaces.
  • Build and test prototypes to validate functionality and durability.
  • Develop robot programs and support integration of automation workflows.
  • Drive product design improvements for scalability in automated environments.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
  • 3–8+ years of experience in mechanical design with robotics or automation exposure.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., NX, SolidWorks).
  • Experience designing mechanical systems and end-of-arm tooling.
  • Understanding of robotic kinematics, coordinate systems, and system integration.
  • Hands-on prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Programming experience in Python, ROS, or robot-specific languages.
