What you'll do

Develop 3D and 2D mechanical designs for manufacturing ground support equipment using Siemens NX.
Design assembly, alignment, and testing fixturing and tooling for satellite payloads.
Conduct design reviews and build/qualify production fixturing and tooling.
Apply DFM/DFA knowledge to optimize product fabrication, assembly, and materials.
Collaborate with hardware, reliability, and firmware teams on system-level trade-offs.

What we're looking for

BS degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
5+ years of aerospace/defense industry experience
Proficiency in Siemens NX for CAD design and analysis
Experience with PCBA fabrication and electronic enclosures design
Knowledge of DFM/DFA and manufacturing process development
Expertise in GD&T and tolerance analysis
Experience with production fixturing and tooling
