TL;DR · Marketing Operations Analyst, Data & Systems

As a Marketing Operations Analyst (Data & Systems), you will join the team to serve as a technical investigator focused on the integrity of the marketing engine rather than campaign execution. You will perform deep-dive audits, manage data hygiene and cleanup, and provide secondary administration for the MarTech stack. Your daily work involves troubleshooting sync errors, designing technical requirements for system improvements, maintaining lifecycle models, and creating documentation for scoring and routing logic. To succeed, you must possess advanced proficiency in Marketo and Salesforce, along with a strong command of AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot to accelerate data analysis and workflow drafting. You will solve complex data puzzles and resolve discrepancies within the marketing infrastructure to ensure accurate lead reporting and seamless movement through the sales funnel.

What you'll do

  • Conduct deep-dive audits into system behaviors and workflow logic to identify root causes of data discrepancies.
  • Lead large-scale data hygiene initiatives to de-duplicate records and normalize fields within Marketo and Salesforce.
  • Design technical requirements and prescribe solutions to improve overall system efficiency and performance.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate pattern detection, automate data analysis, and draft technical documentation.
  • Maintain lifecycle models and monitor lead flow to identify bottlenecks using automated reporting.
  • Serve as a secondary administrator for the MarTech stack including Reachdesk, Qualified, Demandbase, Pathfactory, and Splash.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for scoring, routing, and lifecycle stages to ensure scalability.
  • Execute specific performance goals such as reducing sync error rates and standardizing lead source reporting accuracy.

What we're looking for

  • 3 or more years of experience in Marketing Operations with a focus on data analysis and systems architecture.
  • Advanced proficiency in Marketo and Salesforce, including smart lists, flow actions, custom objects, and report builders.
  • Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear, actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
  • AI fluency using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot to draft workflow logic, query syntax, and documentation.
  • Analytical mindset with a high tolerance for auditing large datasets to identify specific logic errors.
  • A systems lens to understand how changes in one tool impact downstream data and reporting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of work experience.
