As a Manufacturing Engineer at our company, you will be the first line of defense on the Imaging production floor, embedded to rapidly troubleshoot and resolve issues across assembly, integration, and test. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing downtime, coordinating with engineering teams, maintaining digital systems like ERP and MES for accurate tracking, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating closely with technicians to improve processes. You will also create and update documentation, ensure compliance with ISO 9100 standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates have a technical degree and at least five years of hands-on experience in manufacturing or production engineering, along with expertise in electromechanical systems and MES/ERP platforms. Experience in aerospace or defense industries is preferred, as well as familiarity with optical system integration and test.

What you'll do

  • Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimize downtime.
  • Manage digital administration of the line within ERP and MES systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for hardware failures.
  • Collaborate with technicians daily to capture assembly friction points and improve processes.
  • Create and maintain accurate work instructions and SOPs for production floor operations.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, systems, or industrial engineering.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting production lines in manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and assemble electromechanical hardware on the floor.
  • Experience managing data within MES and ERP platforms for tracking and inventory.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems and optical system integration.
