As a Manufacturing Engineer on the second shift team, you will own the manufacturing value chain for specific products, managing both technical and commercial operations to ensure production at scale. Your responsibilities include evaluating supply chain optimizations, developing business cases for vertical integration or diversification, making informed make vs buy decisions, and working with contract manufacturers to establish repeatable processes for development and production. You will be on-site at current and future operations partners, solving issues, improving capacity, and creating documentation necessary for large-scale manufacturing. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in Operations roles such as Process Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, along with a background in electromechanical hardware design.
