Manager, Manufacturing Automation

What you'll do

• Lead and develop a team of IT professionals to support lab operations, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
• Establish strategic objectives and KPIs for the Lab IT team, driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
• Monitor key performance metrics and resolve safety, quality, and compliance issues promptly.
• Ensure seamless integration of new lab equipment with existing IT infrastructure while maintaining system reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot automation-related issues and enhance process standardization.
• Manage vendor relationships and lead stakeholder engagement for effective communication of IT change initiatives.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in digital systems within manufacturing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience supporting GMP-regulated laboratory systems and applications.
• Hands-on expertise with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Chromatography Data Systems (CDS).
• Strong knowledge of IT/OT standards, cybersecurity, and infrastructure for lab environments.
• In-depth understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for regulated systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis for digital lab initiatives.
