What you'll do

• Manage a team of software engineers focusing on career development, inclusivity, and high impact.
• Review architecture decisions, RFCs, and pull requests to ensure the team ships high-quality products.
• Partner with product teams to evaluate use cases, implement smoothly, and prioritize new platform capabilities.
• Scale Husky from petabyte-scale to exabyte-scale, meeting growing customer base demands.
• Share on-call responsibilities and drive a culture of operational excellence within the team.

What we're looking for

• Manage a team of software engineers across various levels, focusing on career development and inclusivity.
• Lead technical decisions for the Husky project, reviewing architecture and ensuring high-quality code delivery.
• Partner with product teams to evaluate use cases and prioritize platform capabilities for scalability.
• Have hands-on experience in Java or Go and a background in distributed systems.
• Experienced in on-call responsibilities, incident responses, post-mortem analysis, and remediation efforts.
• Possess strong leadership skills with proven experience in performance management and interpersonal communication.
